The purpose of this forum is to bring together international experts from International health organizations, national health authorities, local diabetic associations, academics, and local, regional and global media to:

Highlight the rising prevalence of diabetes and its complications in the world in general and in the middle east in particular
Discuss the recent issues related to prevention, management and treatment of diabetes.
Develop global and national strategies to reduce the socio-economic burden of diabetes.
Create a network of committed global and regional key opinion leaders to exchange their knowledge and experiences and by this way contribute to overall improvement of patient care.
